Mobileye to Acquire Mentee Robotics to Accelerate Leadership in Physical AI

Las Vegas, January 6, 2026 — Mobileye today announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Mentee Robotics (Mentee), an AI humanoid robotics company. Mentee has entered the development stage of its third-generation vertically integrated humanoid robot.
The acquisition will combine Mobileye's advanced AI technology and global mass-production experience with Mentee's breakthrough humanoid robotics platform and deep AI talent pool, with the aim of building a global leader in Physical AI spanning the two transformative fields of driving automation and humanoid robotics.
Mobileye's highly automated driving business and its core advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) technology are showing strong momentum, and as a result, the company's automotive business revenue expectation for the next eight years is $24.5 billion, more than 40% higher than the expectation in January 2023.1
The acquisition further expands Mobileye's business scope and marks a decisive step into Physical AI — Physical AI systems are designed to understand context, reason about intent, interact naturally with humans, operate safely and efficiently in the physical world, and achieve economic scalability.
Over the past several years, Mobileye's driving automation technology stack has advanced from a focus on goal-driven navigation assist functions to global situational awareness and intent-aware reasoning capabilities, laying a solid foundation for general-purpose robots to collaborate efficiently with humans while meeting stringent safety requirements.
